So every once in a while I will post quotes of the day, via my students, on my facebook. I figured they would make a pretty funny blog...
(I teach 4th and 5th graders)
"Mrs. Glass, I might be late for class because I have to go number 2 and it is going to baaaadddd!!" (Honesty is a virtue)
"Mrs. Glass, I need to go drain my lizard." (He got in trouble for that one.)
"Mrs. Glass, I did it like eleventy hundred times and I still can't get it" (WOW!That is ALOT)
as she is pointing to the sky..."Mrs. Glass, are those ducks, geese, or birds?" (Our Future!!!)
"Mrs. Glass, are we going to get to digest a frog this year?" (I really hope not)
and my all time favorite......while holding his throat, "My testicles hurt." (son those are called tonsils..CLASSIC)
More to come.......

A New Year!!
2010 got here a lot faster than I thought. Nathan and I had a great 1st Christmas and a busy one at that. We had a total of 7 Christmases (I think that is how you spell it, I am a math teacher, remember). It was great to see everyone. Nathan's cousin Brittany and her new fiance stayed with us for a couple of days. It was so much fun to have company at our house. Looking back it all went by so so fast.
We found out that we are going to have another neice or nephew. Shawn and Jamie are expecting their first in July. We are all so excited and Shawn is trying to figure out how much day care is going to cost already!!
Jaxon is keeping Heather and Dusty on their toes and growing like a weed. He is starting to walk and getting the hang of it very quikly.
Brad and Angie are getting married on February 13th. I know a good time is going to be had by all!!
My parents are doing great. The grandkids keep them very busy but they are loving every minute of it!!! I think they are busier now than when they had all five of us in the house.
Sam is still in San Antonio. I know he loves being closer to home. I believe he has 2 1/2 more years of school, a year of an internship at a church and then he will be ordained a priest (i think). I don't know when he will be ordained a deacon but when he is, he will be ordained in Olfen. We have all already told him that we will NOT be going to him for confession.
Joe and Lacy are staying entertained by their two little girls. Jacey is taking her job as little sisiter very seriously and bugging Harlee every chance she gets.
Justin and Jamie have their hands full with Evan and Cade. Evan can't wait to go to "big girl" school and ride the school bus. Cade is all boy and loves anything that has to do with hunting big bucks, feeding cows, and loading a trailor.
Nathan and I are looking forward to 2010. We will celebrate 1 yr in June and we hope the new year (God willing) brings an addition to our family.
God Bless and Happy New Year!!!!
